A change of direction...

I read as many mom blogs as I do beauty blogs and I had a sudden change of heart in my blogging goals. I want this blog to be a sort of "gift" to my little one. I want to include more about her and just things she would like to read about one day. One thing that amazes me about Sobe is how creative she is. At her age I was pretty lame. I don't remember being 4 but I do remember being 5. I was never as involved as Sobe when it comes to crafts and creative play. I have always had quite an imagination and a semi gifted artist but Sobe is innovative. If she wants something she will create it. Yesterday she made a feather duster out of paper and a fork. She makes presents out of wipe cases and ties (the tie is a ribbon).She figures out certain things (like how to use her Play doh cake maker) faster than I do. I hope her creativity is nurtured through her childhood, teens and adulthood. I am excited to know what my child will choose to do with her life.

Sobe has qualities similar to the six people she is closest too. She is a temperamental, loves makeup, somewhat demanding, artistic, and loves to read. These are qualities I share with her. She has a big heart and is very giving like her uncle who is also a Scorpio. She enjoys the same activities as her other uncle. She loves to jam out to Indian music like her grandfather. She loves to cook, clean, and do crafty things like her grandmother. She acts silly like her father and shares his love of Simpsons, Spongebob, Futurama, et cetera.  Do your children share traits of those they are closest to?
